I've setup and hosted various projects on several Raspberry Pi's. These projects give me an insight not only into computer software/networking, various software packages, and a wider range of computer architecture (ARM-based processors), but an understanding of Linux and Command-Line Interface. These projects include anything from setting up a Raspberry Pi as a Ubiquiti Cloud Key, a network-wide Ad Blocking DNS server using Pi-Hole, or even a crytocurrency staking node, all of which I still host and runn 24/7 to control my home network locally and remotely.
This Website! I'm learning HTML and similar Web Development skills through my creation and hosting of this website
I've created several websites using web building services (such as Wix.com), in addition to teaching myself how to host these sites on a custom domain for free (after buying the Domain)- similar to this site.
However, before my interest in Web Development, I quickly learned and developed skills with computer operating systems (primarily Windows) and hardware through my years in junior high and high school. I then further developed my computer and computer networking skills through my years of experience working hands-on as an assistant to the Technology Director of my high school. I've since expanded on this knowledge through the setup and maintance of my home network, in addition to friends, families, and similar computer/IT needs. I've learned how to portforward and host my own services through dynamic DNS resolution, or by using various self-hosted VPN servers or tunneling clients to remotely manage my devices without exposing a port to the Internet. Additionally, I've set up and managed a Virtual Machine on a workstation using VMWare, which gave me knowledge of Virtual Machines, in addition to learning how to use VMWare which is popular in many different levels of IT.
I've also hosted various small-scale projects in the cloud through Amazon Web Services (AWS) or through DigitalOcean. While not too extensive, these project did give me exposure to cloud services and allowed me to learn the basics of how to use and manage cloud resources.
As I continue my learning and development, I plan to furthur my web Development skills, while improving and expanding on my knowledge of electrical/computer systems and computer networking.
